It depends how it is speaking/greeting.

Are you using a script to do this, or the eggdrops internal greet feature?

I'm using an Alice (v1.1.4 - by strikelight) script to talk to users. And also a Greet script to greet people who are coming into the channel. But I can't find anything in those files that control the interval. Maybe I just put a 'sleep' command somewhere :).

My problem is this. I have two Alice bots talking to each other (this is pretty fun, try it), but they talk way too fast, and one of my bots gets kicked for flooding  . So I want to make the bot's talk interval 10 seconds or something.

Check this file out if you want to see the chat log :).
