No - because eggdrop 1.7 is not a stable version, and won't be for a long time.
Perl support, while allmost complete, is currently more of a test module. It has been implimented to test, and proove the functions of the new multi-scripting language capabilities of eggdrop.
1.7 should not be used on a production bot, just the same as the CVS version of eggdrop1.6 shouldn't.
Neither should script coders be downloading, and making scripts compatable with 1.7, as anything could change at any time.
NOTE: the eggdrop developers will not take any responsibility for damage done to your system should you run it. They don't even warrent it will compile, let alone break it.
