Whats with the untrustworthy bot stuff after 4 days of being up ? is this some kind if bug in eggdrop v1.6.12 ? :evil:

Your bot's uptime is based off the original uptime value you send -- for some reason people cheat and change this original value to make their bot look like it has a higher uptime than it really does. So to help prevent cheating if the first packet your bot sends has an uptime greater than 4 days it will be marked as untrustworthy. There is also a bug in the uptime module for Eggdrop v1.6.10 and below, where if you type ".restart" the module will be unloaded and reloaded -- and the uptime value changes because of this. This bug has been corrected in Eggdrop v1.6.11 and your bot should no longer be marked as untrustworthy if you ".restart".

This is just one bot called Globe, it was started fresh (no restart/rehash) so it shouldn't be a "untrustworthy" bot :-? right ? heh

Hmm .. i noticed that the eggdrop uptime web server thinks my bot (Globe) has only sent one packet :

Information for Globe (untrustworthy):

· Type: Eggdrop (version v1.6.12)
· Uptime: 6 days 23 hours
· Last uptime packet was sent 2 hours ago
· Number of packets sent: 1

back to previous page

and each time it sends a packet it thinks its a new bot eg ...

now why would it be doing this ... is it something to do with the bot or webserver ? and if its something to do with the bot whats wrong with it!? :-?
