Please help! It's kicking my friends!

Post by typefighter »

Heheh, Hiya people ...

I am new to using eggdrops and the like, I have it pretty much set up how I want it but I still can't figure out why (when it has ops) it kicks my friends when they type fast. Is there a way to turn off or decrease the sensitivity of the flood kick ?? If so, HOW !?

Thanks in advance

sure,

check your eggdrop.conf and modify the kick on flood part. if you don't want any, just put 0:0.

If you have dcc/telnet with him just do a .chanset #channel flood-chan 0:0
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

This is the incorrect method, and will not work.

When eggdrop is running, it saves a channel file, where channel settings are stored.

Whenever the config file is read from then on, it will load information from the config file, thus changing you settings (if changes have been made).

However, after loading the config file, the channels file is read. This will again replace any changes inside the config file.

The correct method is to use the ".chanset" command in the partyline.

See ".help chaninfo" and ".help chatset"
