I have a problem with sharing the userfiles between the bots, Hub-bot is +ghp and leaf bot +gs, set my-ip and set my-hostname is set. The bots do link, but when it request the userfile it says Aborted and the bots unlinks.
When I give a . status I see this:
[09:22] <Kakatoe> [11:23] #Remco# status
[09:22] <Kakatoe> I am Kakatoe, running eggdrop v1.6.6: 6 users (mem: 75k)
[09:22] <Kakatoe> Running on Linux 2.4.12
[09:22] <Kakatoe> Online for 1 day, 16:55 (background) CPU 00:09 cache hit 70.2%
[09:22] <Kakatoe> Using Tcl library: /usr/lib/tcl8.3

[09:22] <Kakatoe> Tcl patchlevel: 8.3.3 (header patchlevel 8.3.3)
[09:22] <Kakatoe> TCL isn't threaded
TCL isn't threaded, can that be the problem, and how do I fix that msg?
I'm having the same problem with my two bots. They link but I can't get them to transfer the userfile between them.
From the hub I get,
Creating resync buffer for ..
Sending user file send request to...
then the slave returns
Downloading user file from ...
failed connection, aborted userfile tranfer.
then a few seconds (20 or so) later the hub replies
Timeout on userfile transfer.
I've uped the dcc-transfer time to 60seconds, but the whole transaction takes much less time then that.
is it manditory that the ident is secessful? because the ident times out. They still link and I can access one from the other. I just can't get the userfile to xfer to save my life...
thanks for anyhelp you might be able to provide.
