for identifying your nick that also works when they have an netsplit or that the nickserv dies and comes back

why dont you simply search for "nickserv" in the tcl archive?

i think a script like this would fid your requirements. i dont know it, but from the bindings it seems to work similar than my own. only the chanserv response isnt captured, but i am sure not to be the first thinking on that
