I am new to both IRC and to eggdrop and I was wondering once my bot is in a room is there any way to private msg the bot with commands such as .restart or what not instead of having to use the dcc chat session. I want to do this so I can use commands like say and stuf without opening a connection to the bot. But I also don't want it to respond to everyone only those on its list.

Is there anyway to do this??

You can check the TCL Sites I bet there is one out there .... how secure it is is anyones guess....
