For some reason that I cannot figure out, when my leaf bots download the userfile from the host bot, they all strip the +o flag from the other bots. This results in them all de-opping eachother (because of +bitch), which basically means a worthless botnet. Anyone have this experience or know how to fix it? Thank you.

Check your "private-globals" setting in the config file.

should private-globals=1 or 0?
i had 0, so i tried 1
now the leafs say they're rejecting the global flags...
is that what i want them to do?

i figured it out!
private-global needed to be 0
and i needed to remove 'o' from private-globals
