Logfiles

Post by BeerMaN »

Heya!

I have some sort of a problem, I run a eggdrop on a irc net. This part is also fine, but in the cfg file of the bot, i wrote like this;
logfile jkp #chan "logs/#chan.log"
But in the /logs directory it says two files, one #chan.log - and one #chan.yesterday.log.

How is it, that the logging system @ a eggdrop is build. Cause, i wanna run pisg - and know, that in the pisg.cfg I gotta write where to get the logfile for the channel.

My question is now, how to make the one eggdrop log like more than one channel, and why does the bot makes two diffrent logfiles of the same channel.
One more, I made a tcl for the stats - to make the bot execute to pisg, doing the !stats cmd in public, but is that nessesary, I mean - isn't it enough with the crontab cmd.
