i Need help with eggdrop!

i dont know how to change bots name! ive tried .set nick NICK BUT not working! /dcc chat b0t and then ive added commands but i fail always!

secondly, ive tried to remove bot from some channels! but it says:
(10:46:58pm) (goran_) .-chan #gorans_palace
(10:46:58pm) (b0t) Cannot remove #gorans_palace, it is not a dynamic channel!.
help me please! thanks!!

For a temporarly nick change use the set (only if it's enabled, by default is disabled) and for a permanent one change from the .conf file. As for the -chan thing, the statc channels can't be removed via party line, only the dinamyc ones. You have two alternatives: make it forget that channel (using +inactive) or remove it from the .conf file directly.

maybe "set" is unbinded/you dont have sufficient flags.

#gorans_palace is probably added in your config file (also known as a "static" channel). so to remove it, you have to edit the config

Also, for the .set command you will need some owner access. Also, check/see the coments about "must-be-owner"..

instead of .set you can use the .dump command
.dump NICK nickname
