I was wondering it if was possible to write to a file on a public command?

If it is, mind pointing me to some tutorials? thanks. :D

Yes, it's possible. A litle *investigation* on the forum should reveal some examples and sugested used by other users of the forum. Look for open, close and puts.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
