I have the following problem on connect (using socks 4):

[00:19] Trying server irc.brasnet.org:6667
[00:19] Connected to irc.brasnet.org
[00:19] -NOTICE- *** Checking Ident
[00:19] -NOTICE- *** No Ident response
[00:19] -ERROR from server- Closing Link: [unknown@24.96.49.29] (Connection Timed Out)
[00:19] Disconnecting from server.

(on mirc script connect but eggdrop don´t!)

Help-me. Thanks...

I assume you use mIRC from your pc while the eggdrop connects from a shell.
If that is the case, then both are completely different and have absolutely nothing to do with each other. One can perfectly connect while the other might be having a connection problem and thus "ping timeout".

Actualy it was a "Connection Timed Out" :) as for your *problem* try increasing the timeout limit in the .conf (if any for this) or something similar.. I haven't played with socks and not shure of this. Also, in the near future please do try to drop the "(Experts!)" thing.. is rude and will attract dissrespect to other users and it's possible that you will not get an answer for it.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

As the timeout happens on the server side, this won't help. I actually replied in the same fashion the last time he asked this question. (before I got a chance to actually READ the post :P)

Umm.. damn! ;) Anyway, I've said I'm not shure of that :P Just ignore my reply untill you get to the "also" part.

I think the problem may be the:
"no ident" responce.

question: did you set a proper ident for the bot in the conf. ?

The ident notice from the irc server is about the identd response (I doubt he has control over the identd of the socks server)

btw: I think z_one already gave the correct answer :) (the shell-/socks-/irc- server/-connection(s) suck)
