Hi, I have a botnet which consists of 7 bots, ALL have -dynamicbans +userbans +enforcebans ban-time 0 So I added 2 bans using the bot console (.+ban ...... ), made it permenent and NOT sticky. Later, I removed both bans as an OP ( /mode #channelname -b hostmask ) within the channel, it shows ! and (perm) next to the bans which indicates that it's not active and permanent respectively.
Whenever any of my bots gets restarted, disconnected, or for any other reason, once it comes back to the channel, gets Opped by the other bots, then goes on to add both bans that I removed. There is no person joing the channel at that time and no one came to channel matching the bans. I don't know what could be telling the bots to re-add the bans.. so strange. I loaded repeat1.1.tcl sentinel and mc_8 ban flooders scripts. Anyone have a clue to what might be causing this? Thanks for your time.
