Anyone have any ideas for these.....???

Im pretty clueless with this stuff. I got my bot up and running yay. I should also note im a retard when it comes to linux.

1) I'm looking for a way to get my bot to spit out a paragraph worth of text on a specific day at a specific time, weekly.

2) I'm also have 12 txt files one for each month of the year with a line on each for the days of the month. Id like my bot to change the topic daily and grab the appropriate line from the appropriate txt file that coorsponds with todays date.

3) finally, but least important Id like to get my bot to kick back the number of users in the chatroom to my website.

1) and 2) I remember seeing a post which can atleast get your started. A forum search would be very helpfull

3) I think it also has been discussed in this forum.

If you have any ideas on what to search for that would be of great use. I've tried a ton of different searched and have come up with no positive resulte. Hence my post here asking for assistance.
