ok I have 2 problems:
#1. the bot is not behind any kind of firewall or NAT, it has a hostname which is added under my-ip/hostname, its listing on port 333 (checked with netstat), but still I can not connect nor from the server itself neither from my home pc.
DCC works fine btw...
#2. [edit] problem solved... first prob remains

port 333?
# Valid ports are typically anything between 1025 and 65535 assuming the
# port is not already in use.
