Small userfile sharing problem

I have missed something in my configuration, just can find out what. My bots link fine, but I keep getting this error:

User file rejected by Jackie: Your version is not high enough, need v1.2.99

Must be something in netbots.tcl I have missed configured, someone have an idea?

no. you're just trying to share a userfile from a new bot to an old version bot (i suspect a 1.6.x to a 1.1.5). Either upgrade the 1.1.5 bot, or downgrade the 1.6.x bot (i suggest the former)

This is as the message means.

One of the bots is below version 1.2.99.

I am guessing you are using version 1.1.5. Bad news, it needs an upgrade if you want to share.

I would imagen that this was the problem from the error message, but both bots are version 1.6.6, is it possible that they can make an invaild userfile someway?

could be a bad compile of one of the bots. or possibly the version number in your sources got corrupted to a lower value somehow. try recompiling from freshly downloaded sources.

This is an issue, of when the bots link, they send a handshake with there version number in. Either for some odd reason, or forced change, it is sending a very low version number.

You should send a message to eggheads@eggheads.org for more help with this issue. Give a explanation, stating what version the bots are, and as much other information (system hardware, OS and such), else ya won't get such a fast reply.
