I'm trying to link bot running on FBSD box with ipfilter based firewall. I opened relay tcp port and that's it. It's not working. What I need to install or how to set up rules for fw to get linking work? Linking is done with ipc mechanism which is similar to dcc... Any good tutorial/howto/arcticle? Can someone tell me all steps how to do it?

Problems with linking on box with ipfilter...

im going to assume you mean linking with a share..
1) make sure my-ip is set on the bots (IMPORTANT!)
2) set reserved-portrange to a range and allow traffic on it ( file trasnfer and dcc's will happen on these ports)
3) obviously you will wish to allow traffic on its listen port
you only mentioned a firewall and no mention of NAT.. so that should do ya hopefully
