Help!

Post by WeiJie »

I've tried -stopnethack but the problem still goes on:

::12:27:34:: * ionip.nl.galaxynet.org sets mode: +o Dj-Uesr
::12:27:35:: * Guardian sets mode: -o Dj-Uesr

This is what happen even thou I've already did a -stopnethack on my bot on the particular channel. What would be the cause of it?

Code: Select all

.chanset #channel stopnethack-mode 0
# stopnethack-mode 0
# This setting will make the bot de-op anyone who enters the channel
# with serverops. There are seven different modes for this settings:
# 0 turn off,
# 1 isoptest (allow serverop if registered op)
# 2 wasoptest (allow serverop if op before split)
# 3 allow serverop if isop or wasop
# 4 allow serverop if isop and wasop.
# 5 If the channel is -bitch, see stopnethack-mode 3
# If the channel is +bitch, see stopnethack-mode 1
# 6 If the channel is -bitch, see stopnethack-mode 2
# If the channel is +bitch, see stopnethack-mode 4

As a wild guess:

Code: Select all

.chanset #channel revenge-mode 0
Read the step by step guide for Setting up an Eggdrop also. :)

Hmmm, revenge is also off what could it be!
I don't see -stopnethack in there in any of these settings.

Code: Select all

.chanset #channel -stopnethack
.chanset #channel stopnethack-mode 0
.save
.restart
Do the above settings in global too if they are for specific channels. You can edit them in your bots .conf file globally for all channels.

Hints:
What tcl scripts are you using? could be those.
Is the bot linked with a botnet maybe? usig netbots.tcl maybe.

Comment:
Also set it to -cycle and -nodesynch you woudn't want to use
those as well.

I'm using quite a numbers of tcl scripts...
But the bot is not linked with the botnet...
Netbots.tcl is not in used.

This also can be a source of problems. Care to list which ones you are using, some might have a bind for splt, on join which might be causing the problem a protection tcl like bitch or something. :-?
