Eggdrop Manager

Post by Obstfliege »

I am coding an Eggdrop Manager...

My question: Are you interested in it? do you probably add it to your Download list?

I just want to kill some Bugs and then i will release it.

It makes it very easier to handle an eggdrop.

i hope this screenshots will help you to understand what you can do with the eggdrop.

For example you can add / erase users by clicking an button.. you dont have to type the command every time...

Well that certainly got my curiosity going. :)

How secure is it?

This software will be usesless for me, i'm using modified eggdrop, but it might help many users to manage theirs bots/botnets.

Alchera: same as telnet or dcc chat connection. Comunication won't be encrypted, eggdrop can't handle it right now.

Post a link to it so the people that are interested will get it, give it a try and then will give you a feedback with their opinion.

There are some basic things needed to be answered first:

- How will this logon manager connect you with the eggdrop? (What type of connection, and from where?)
- We know DCC is secure, but what about the method you are going to apply?
- Even though if this logon manager has an input, does it have an output? Like it displays output in DCC?
- How will it get shell access, if it wants to modify files etc? or maybe, it will get through the DCC connection?
- Compatability Issues with different versions of eggdrops and OS's.

and etc.......

It's just a telnet connection to the bot's partyline, awyeah... all those questions are irrelevant... It's just a bunch of buttons and checkboxes to make it easier for new users, so they don't have to look all over the place for a command that they are looking for...

I say good job, and should be a welcomed addition for new users...
