Hello there!
I got a problem with my DCC chat:
98% of the users can`t connect to my bot!
They register and connect just as usual (./msg botty hello ./msg botty PASS passwd ./dcc CHAT botty or /ctcp botty chat) but they don`t get any response from eggdrop-he doesn`t want a pass, nothing happens!
We even tried to send the pass without any request of the bot...
Thats what eggdrop loggs:
First without registering
[botty(dcc)] [19:31] Refused DCC chat (no access):ponyboy@rides.a.big.floppy.donkey.dick
Then after registering
[botty(dcc)] [18:24] CTCP CHAT: from ponyboy (ponyboy@rides.a.big.floppy.donkey.dick)
and then
[botty(dcc)] [18:24] Password timeout on dcc chat: [ponyboy]ponyboy@rides.a.big.floppy.donkey.dick
I got telnet-protection on, my connection timeout is 20 and ident timeout is 9.
It can´t be the firewall or the router cause some users can actually join the partyline!
The hostname of the bot and the users hostnames are also ok [just because they just registered a sec. before].
The client does nothing besides telling after some time that the connection timed out [error 10060]!
Thanks in advamce for your help!
Ps:I know that this question was asked many times, and I searched and read nearly every topic on egghelp.org about this issue but I couldn´t solve my problem.
