set variable via telnet

Post by NewzUK »

Hi

At present I'm unable to ftp to my bot's account to set a variable in a script - is it possible to set a variable via telnet with a bot?

Thanks in advance...

use .set

or, if you need to edit a script file, use sed(1) via .tcl exec

then you are out of luck

always leave .tcl and .set binded last in your config file, after sourcing all the script stuf - in case some stupid script has unbinded those
