I am afraid I do not have any idea how to make such a script. =1 Are there no settings that can be added to the configuration folder that kills the part of the Eggdrop that leaves channels it does not have in its list? Any modules that does such? .say &bitlbee chat with Zeyrawr [23:01] tcl: buil...

Use the "channel add" tcl command, or using the partyline, use the ".+chan" command? The problem is that using BitlBee, when you type the BitlBee command for joining a MSN-group chat, it joins the channel &Chat000. If that channel is taken, it joins &chat001, etc - Issue...

MegaHAL - Quit leaving channels!

Is there any way to make the Eggdrop-bot refrain from leaving channels that it is added and/or invited to? I have looked through the Eggdrop.conf file, but I seem unable to find anything that helps. =1 I managed to connect the bot through BitlBee, talking to it in private conversations, but when I t...

MegaHAL: Replying to nicknames?

Is there some file in the configuration folder where I can add Nicknames that the bot will consider as if its names was said?

I.E making a bot called "Gingerbreadsnap" reply to sentences with "GingerB" in them?

MegaHAL (Windrop) - Extended reply scripts

As of now, Eggdrop (Windrop) replies whenever its name is mentioned, prefixing its reply with the one mentioning the name if the name of the bot is first in the sentence. Additionally, it replies to EVERYTHING if freespeak is on. I am wondering if there is a middle thing, or a simple way to do somet...

By sourcing it, you would mean placing "loadmod megahal" anywhere in the Eggdrop.conf file?

That could overwrite certain files, though - Which is what I am sceptical to doing, many modules on the same Windrop would likely some time end up with the same names for files.

Windrop Megahal : Where do I place Megahal.mod folder

I am using Windrop with standard modules, the bot is working and joins the IRC server. Running Windows Vista. I am trying to add a non-standard module, Megahal. I downloaded the latest Megahal, as well as the megahal.dll linked from in a certain thread on this forum. I placed the megahal.dll in my m...

Yes, thank you. It works now. I was not able to message it with any passwords in IRC because I changed the wrong part of the custom "hello"-word in the configuration file, as well as picking the same nickname, which ... might have messed it up. =1 My only issue now is loading a module, but...

Telnet using Putty - You Have No Access (Connected once)

I just installed windrop1.6.19, and managed to set it up, connecting through Telnet, assigning a nickname (the same as what the bot's name is on the server) and a password. This time, Telnet through Putty worked as it should, I could send messages and commands to the IRC server through putty. Howeve...
