ur talking about ident not hostname ... you are using mirc i gather ... and because mirc uses its own identd (ident daemon) you bot is getting its ident from that not from its own connection ... all i can suggest is go into your mirc settings and try turning off the identd ... however this may make ...

From what u have described and what I can interpret from your post.... The Unbind dcc - chat and bind dcc n chat is defining that dcc chat is only available to owners as n = owner flag if u rebind it to be dcc p chat then only those with the p flag (which is usually set when u add a user) can access...
