Problem with +greet

Channel is set +greet, user's info line has text in it, but bot stays silent when user enters the channel!

Why is it so?

Will probably just use a greet tcl from the archive but does anyone know what could be wrong?

TIA

!nickid

Until my hard drive died I used to have a tcl (I cant remember who wrote it) which made the bot identify to nickserv when given the !nickid command in the channel from a user who was +o.

Does anyone have such a tcl or can write it?

I have searched the archive and forum but cant find it.

TIA

Debug eggie

I have an eggie that every few minutes says:

Tcl error [check_onjoin]: No such user.

Apart from commenting out each tcl in the conf file and rehashing is there an easier way to find out which tcl is causing the error?

Look in bots config file for the following and set accordingly:

set timezone "XYZ"
set offset ""
set env(TZ) "$timezone $offset"

This question might be better in the TCL Forum but to answer at least part of your question......... I'm looking to see if there is a script that will ask a user their age first before voicing them. If they are over a certain age they get voiced. If they don't answer in an allotted amount of time th...

Find the script(s) you want to run. Upload them to your bots shell, typically in to the scripts directory. Next, at the end of the bot's .conf file you will find something that looks like this:- source scripts/alltools.tcl source scripts/action.fix.tcl source scripts/compat.tcl source scripts/storm....
