These odd characters are all over the partyline. I can barley read it. I am using 1.6.13 on a Red Hat 6.0 Kernel. Connecting to Unreal3.1.5.1-Valek IRCD Server. I have tried connecting it thru the intranet as well as the internet to see if that was causing the characters.
Thanks,
Audie
I've noticed the same thing with the 'fixcodes' and what the heck is this enabled and why there isn't an on/off variable for it? In the next version would be nice to be a on/off thing and probably a way this will be stored and remembered and there won't be a need to make it off again and again after you close the dcc chat with the eggdrop. Is kinda silly..
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
From what I understand, it's a bug, and I am gonna push the issue on the development list.
Strip settings, fixcodes mode, console channel and console modes are all stored int he console section. This can be forced using ".store".
As such, they are saved, but at present, the saved settings are not takening automatic effect, and manual commands are needed to rectify this.
For now, the quickest method, is to turn more strip settings on, and remove the +h flag from yourself. This will prevent the output of any fancy formatting alltogether, until a fix is available.
I have my suspicions of when this bug stated, and will inform the eggdev team.
