Eggdrop Manager

Looks cool

would be nice to have a telnet app that handles eggdrop nicely

and with extra eggdrop functionality is a bonus

without having used it first (wheres a download link??

) A few suggestions.

have it capture the status lines and display that information somewhere in the app.
some ftp functionality would be very useful for file editing.
Does it generate a log file??
Might want to make it capture chatter from a channel (+p mode) and pipe that to a tab that could be used to chat through the bot to the channel (via the .say command if you have access to use it)

Anyway toss us a link so we can check it out and rip it to shreads.. i mean tell you what we think.. i mean tell you how cool it is

Not sure why everyone keeps just saying it's for newbies.

A windows telnet app that treats eggdrop's output nicely and has an input box history (you know pressing up to get to things you've typed in before...it has that right????) in and of itself is useful i hate opening up an irc client just to check on my bot(s).

It's just a telnet connection to the bot's partyline, awyeah... all those questions are irrelevant... It's just a bunch of buttons and checkboxes to make it easier for new users, so they don't have to look all over the place for a command that they are looking for...

I say good job, and should be a welcomed addition for new users...

Yeah you are right!
Its just like when you connect yourself in the Partyline... it shows you the original traffic/log in the left field.

I'm not knocking the project by any means, but fact of the matter is, there are many advanced users out there that are more comfortable with the down and dirty raw stuff...The no-gui-type of people

I tryed it and it's quite good...It's handy for newbies and other users who wan't to do things by 'easy' way

yes the next feature will be that you can see what commands you typed in and that you can recall it... just like the .bash_history on Linux.

Well this means, we will not be helping much on the eggdrop section then, heh... will be easier. So we can direct all newbies to use this new GUI system!
