Hello

I am fairly new in the tcl and bot world. I don't have linux installed so I had to give a try with the equivalent "Windrop".

What I am looking for is a script? that let you announces a change on a website in the irc channel.

e.g.: If I post a thread in our "fun-forum" this thread will be announced in the irc channel.

I am not asking to write it for me, but I would like to be givin clear directions of what, where, how I have to search.

Thanks in advance

The first thing that occurred to me is to examine one of the google search scripts or weather scripts. They both load webpages with some form data, and then parse the results, and post them to a channel (or private message).

Yours may be more complicated, because it will have to determine whether a thread is "new" or not. Hopefully your web page has an indicator for new messages somewhere.

Yes I was thinking of that too, but didn't find any clue.

ANyway, I'm searching, so if anyone has tips you can always put them here.
