I don't recall, the best would be checking script settings, guess it can be set to respond to ops only.

I've been DALnet #eggdrop op for very long time, and maybe I'm overreacting a bit. I have never seen NeVeRCLeaR in DALnet #eggdrop so I took it as spam. If I offended him, I'm sorry but I hope that DALnet will finally deal with kiddies and will become more stable.

Re: why does the bot change bans?? could i turn off that??

Mode: (@b0t) sets (-b+b) (*!Somiac@host.de *!*@host.de) Could i turn off these future?? Bot took off *!Somiac@host.de ban because something made it set ban *!*@host.de (script or user) and *!*@host.de bans *!Somiac@host.de as well so it would be waste of space in channel ban list. Some IRCDs wouldn...

You should have checked conf because it's there

Code: Select all

# forward a request to other bots, if a !seen returned no # result?
set botnet-seens 1

Hope it helps, cheers :)

make sure all bots, have at least

Code: Select all

 set my-ip

Code: Select all

my-hostname

I've seen it on IRCnet. Bot had +r nick mode, which means it was not able to do anything with op - connection restricted, and that's why it changes server with i-lines suck reason. Prolly +,-,^ appeared in the front of identd
ie nick!+ident@host

bind notc - "*\[VERBOSE\]*" procname
You can do anything you want when ChanServ sends verbose notice just get a clue - read tcl-commands.doc and remember to check whether notice is done by ChanServ in proc.

Re: channel logging problem

It says what's wrong: too many log files, it can be easily fixed just increase set max-logs setting.
# This is the maximum number of logfiles allowed. This setting can be
# increased; however, don't decrease it.
set max-logs 5
Cheers
