Yes you can disable all chan protection, oping and stuff.
I have a bot that jus autolimit. One that jus searches. one that jus announce.

is your eggy on a shell with vhost? can set vhost in ur eggy conf.good luck

2. Yes it culd be config in the tcl script. You may need to set the additional channels in it.

And check to see if the tcl script support multiple Channels at all.

Ok...also a way around it Server side. You can have Network Admins up the sendq limit for the network.

I find I am able to successfully join my Eggy durring less traffic hours after serveral hours of hammering the chan. hehe

My eggy when joining an 800+ users chan keeps getting SendQ exceeded and disconnects. I know that on some IRCD, the user mode +R(where only registered users are able to msg you) would help. But on my IRCD there isnt a similar mode. Anyone have a resolution for this? Thanks in advance.

Im a newbie also...but I got it set up fine using this sites directions. Jus takes a little effort but in the process you learn alot.

thanks for the info pps. Yes eggy is a great everything-bot. But due to my IRCD situation, I need eggy to do the least enforcing possible. It would be nice if there was an option to disable "All" eggy's enforce features. That way, though it does not reconize +a...it won't hinder us Admins(...

Ya....Eggy does not recognize Half ops and !admins. I read it at Ultimate IRCD site. So I guess nothing we can do. Hopefully they will incorporated it in the next release of Eggy.
